Have you ever heard about Blue Monday?

I talked to different people around me and had the same reaction: they didn't know what it is.

The Blue Monday is the third Monday of January. It's the most depressing day of the year.

Why? For many reasons: the cold weather, few weeks after celebrations and you have less money (if you have paid a lot for presents), many people have already skip their new resolutions, and it's Monday. Be honest, who likes Mondays?

I don't say it's a shitty Monday, but if it's the case for you, you can blame the day.

How was your day?

Personally, I had a meeting with my coworkers and the manager. Nothing important. It was just to plan the next events where we are going to be present.

Then I received a message from a person I didn't contact for several weeks. He was upset I didn't answer to his best wishes for 2026. I said we can send them until January 31. He was not agree.

After that, my manager called me to propose me something: he wanted to know if I'm interesting to work on the morning show this summer because our morning man will be on vacation. For many people, they will be super happy to do it. However, it's a responsibility, as the morning is the most important moment. You accompany the listeners, you have to entertain and inform them.

I've been working for the afternoon show for 3 years now. It's 4 hours, while the morning show is "only" 2. But I'm really wondering if it's a good idea. How to organise my schedule?

Doing the morning show from 7 to 9 means starting to prepare the night before and finishing in the morning. Plus, the radio station is located in a community centre that doesn't open until 8:30 :/

I would love to work for a large radio station with several studios and offices, and open all the time. Unfortunately, we're just a community radio station (which is a good thing, but we have a smaller budget).

With all that happened this morning, I was late with my work, but I managed to finish on time.

Tonight, I only had an hour of online English class because the teacher had a problem. We mostly played games where we had to find synonyms, and an activity on irregular verbs.

Tomorrow we're supposed to welcome a teacher's friend and ask her some questions. It's rare that we have someone from outside the class come in. Apparently, she speaks quickly. We'll see.
