Luxor is a Japanese kind of rose from the Japanese brand Rosa Orientis. I felt in love with the rose at first sight and I really wanted one.
However, it's very popular among rose lovers, and the company has been controlling the selling numbers. Even though keeping putting my name on a waiting list, it was really hard for me to get one. I had to wait for my turn almost for two years, and last month it finally arrived at my house! Yahoo!!!!
I know I’m supposed to limit the number of roses in my garden, but this is special, so I don't mind.
I was thrilled to open the box.
I saw a well trimmed rose bush.
There it was. I love neutral colors in roses, and this one blooms beige flowers. There are several varieties which bloom beige flowers, but this one is the easiest to take care of. It's strong against Japanese climate as well. I'm also crazy about cup shaped flowers in roses, and this one has the perfect form.
A couple of days ago, I planted it in front of my black berry bush. It’s currently dormant, so it has no leaves yet , but it'll start growing in about two months! I'm already really looking forward to seeing its flowers!
