I have a friend from Bolivia but I haven't contacted with her for a while, even though I sometimes thought of her.

On New Year's Day, she called me via a messenger. I was very surprised! She had been worried about me because I hadn't posted anything on my Facebook wall or Instagram. She even thought I had quit painting.

We used to go to the U.S. to learn porcelain painting together. After our lessons, we traveled around Alabama, Louisiana, Mexico and more. She and her husband once visited us in Japan, so we went to both Kyoto and Osaka together as well.

She told me that she's been teaching porcelain painting in Bolivia and been selling her hand-painted pieces as well. I was very curious how she's been selling them and asked her about it. Unfortunately, her English isn't so great that I couldn't fully understand the very important part. I wish I could understand Spanish.

She said I'm always welcome to visit her, and I'd love to! We talked about our plan to travel to Lake Titicaca and Uyuni. It must be so much fun to visit!
