Memorial Service

by

daily life

Today we had a family gathering for my grandfather's 13th memorial service.

In Japan, a memorial service is a time for family to come together and remember someone who has passed away.

We also use this chance to talk about how we're been and share our recent news.

It was the first time in a while that we all met and some relatives have had kids since then.

The children brought so much energy and the atmosphere felt bright and cheerful.

A baby who child not talk last time is now speaking and running and meanwhile another new baby has joined our family.

I was amazed by now fast people grow and how interesting that change is.
