Nowadays, I focus a lot on identity-related things. The other day, I asked myself: Do I have these habits and traits because of my partner or because I earn more and I can afford to be my more authentic self? I realized that I don’t give myself enough credit, and I used to believe I do these things thanks to only my partner. Most of the positive things I focus on and care about would still be part of my life in different ways, even if I had never met my partner.

It's a good feeling to realize this.
