Have you ever listened that word?
Me neither.
I'm going to rewind a little.
This last year has been tough. When I finished my college studies all the caos begun: I have started a major, and then I dump it. I have tried new courses of everything; theatre, voice acting, art history, creative writing, going to expositions, mytology, literature,... the issue? I like them all!!
Then I've tried to read a book to fine some guidance and thinking that the book would help me to find my path. Quite the opposite.
That book, "The Element", from Ken Robinson has inspired me in a lot of different ways and has opened a lot of new paths. With a lot of real awesome stories it was amazing, but not helping...
Then I've decided to read the second book, "Finding Your Element", a practical guide that give you a lot of exercises to explore your insight and find your "dream job".
Sorprisingly this one has helped a lot. I really think I've finded something that can please all my points of interests, "HUMANITIES".
So yeah, the next year I'm going to be starting in a new college, studying Humanities, and I was so satisfied with that idea until one thought passed trought my head. What happens if all my interest in this area just desappears with the ages? What if I finish the carreer and then I need more? I'm going to pass all my live studying and then quitting?
I was a bit concearned about this, but then I've found a new concept that ressonates with me. "POLIMATH".
A Polimath is a person who have a lot of knowledge of diverse area, like Leonardo Da'Vinci or Benjamin Franklin. I've always admired Da'Vinci and I've always wanted to be like him! Now I understand why! I want to be a polimath!
Ok, but now, the real question is... what the f*** does a polimath for living?
So, searching more information I've found another book! "How To Be Everything: A Guide for Those Who (Still) Don't Know What They Want to Be When They Grow Up" from Emilie Wapnick. The solutions to all my problems??? I don't know it yet, but I'll find out!!
PS: Yes, that was all I wanted to say for today, see you! (maybe in new updates?)
