My name is Santos, I'm 24 and I've been working as a web developer since 2013 when I was 16.
In my free time, I like to jog, read books, watch movies, spend time with my girlfriend and teach and support a group of children and teenagers how-to programming.
Though I started working at 16, my interest in computers and programming started a while before it, when I was 11 and my uncle gave me my first computer.
In the beginning, my interests were most about video games and drawing. So I started navigating on some forums about a game I used to play and in that forum, I learned how to change some assets games to change items skins and visual effects. It no-take so long to start learning about how to develop some things from scratch with some tutorials that I found on the internet. And since then I never stopped doing code.
Hi Santos, I'm also a software developer. My first job was as a webdev as well. What tech stack do you use at work, if I may ask? And boy, 16 is quite a young age to already start working professionally in the field!
Hi Eduard! Thanks for the corrections. I really appreciate it.
Currently, I've been working as a Frontend and Mobile developer using Typescript, React, Nodejs, Flutter, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, firebase tools, and Google Cloud Computing infrastructure.
Yeah, man. 16 is the legal age to start working full-time here in Brazil. In that time I worked full-time (from 8 AM to 6 PM) for a marketing agency and studied my last high school year at night.
I'll write more about it this week.
Hi Santos, I am Sarthak Rohatgi and I am a software developer too. I work with graphQL, Flutter and Node.js. If I am not wrong you also make tutorials on Youtube, right?
Hi Sarthak! Nice to see other developers here too. I've done some videos for youtube a long time ago when jQuery was very popular yet, and I've removed these videos some years ago too, so I think I'm not the person you're thinking.
I'm eager to read some text about some experience you had. Let's write, whether in English or another language. 😄
