I look forward to visiting the David Austin Rose Garden every year and I'm glad I could visit this year as well. We have only one official shop in Osaka Prefecture, Japan, so I feel lucky we live in the area.
Today, I'd love to introduce their beautiful garden and charming shop. David Austin Roses are very popular among Japanese who love roses.
I've planted over 25 varieties in my garden, and the half of the varieties are from this brand. I absolutely love their roses because they are easy to grow and look very lovely.
When I stepped in the shop, a brand-new variety greeted my husband and me.
Before visiting there, I'd already made up my mind which variety I would buy.
The shop also has a cozy corner that sells garden goods imported from the U.K.
Since there was a rose fair going on that day when we visited, we saw a small food stand.
After purchasing a rose pot, we headed to their beautiful rose garden. The roses in this garden are all English roses from David Austin Roses.
Some people were visiting there with their pets and enjoyed taking their adorable pets' photos among the roses. I'm sure they'll post the pictures on Instagram.
The picture below shows rose arches. I can imagine how stunning they will look once the roses grow fully, it'll become a breathtaking rose tunnel. I can hardly see it.
The pictures below shows a new rose I bought. Since we got home late, I tried to take some pictures the following day. However, the day was rainy, and it ruined my pretty rose. Most petals fell off, and I'm sorry showing a disappointing rose pot. The new rose is called Dannahue which has a teacup-shaped. It also has an awesome fragrance.
Since my Danahue finished blooming, I need to think where I should plant it.
