火曜日に入学式があったのに私がいけませんでした。

Tuesday was the opening ceremony for new students, but I was unable to attend.

嫌だな感じでした。

I was so disappointed!

私が日本の学校で英語が教えられていますが、私が私の都会の市役所の者ですから時々あそこに行き学校のイベントにいけません。

I teach English at schools, but because I am employed by the city, sometimes I must go there and am unable to attend school events.

あいにく火曜日はその日でした。

Unfortunately, Tuesday was one of those days.

市役所で会議があったので、新一年生を「学校へようこそ」と言われませんでした。

I had a meeting at the city hall, so I couldn't welcome the new first year students.

今朝に、私が普通の朝挨拶すぉさせられました。

This morning I was able to do the normal morning greetings.

楽しかったけど、一年生たちが私の顔待った見えられる機会がなかったしビックルそう。

It was fun to see all the students again, but because the first year students hadn't had the chance to see my face yet, they all seemed surprised.

それと言ても、今年の一年生たちが元気な子だと感じます。

That said, I feel like the new students will be good kids.

私が英語で「Good morning!」と言いたら、英語で挨拶してくれた子が多かったの訳です。

I feel that way because, when I said 'good morning' in English, many students responded with English greetings.

嬉しかったです！

It made me so happy！
