未来に何をするかな？

What do you want to do in the future?

五年間ぐらい私が私にこの質問をよく聞きつつあります。

I've been asking myself this question for the last five years.

特に一月から毎日毎日よく考えています。

I've been especially preoccupied by this question since January.

来年に私の契約が終わって来ます。

Next year, my current contract will come to an end.

その時から、新しい道に歩かなければいけません。

I'll have to start down a new road soon.

「選定がおおすいぎな！」と「選定が少ないだろ…」とも気があります。

Sometimes I feel like, 'there are too many options here!' or 'there are so few options open to me'.

確かに、２つもはちがいます。

Of course, both ways of thinking are wrong.

選択肢は選択肢だけです。

Options are just options.

大人の方法は一つの道だけ選んで歩き、５０年間のあとになくなるはずです。

The adult thing to do is to choose a path and stick with it, work a job for fifty years, and then die.

それが悪くないのですが、ちょっと悲しみます。

That isn't a bad option really, but somehow it feels a little sad.

私がこの世界にあるくのチャンスは一回だけもがあります。

I've only got one chance to walk on this planet.

それで、面白い仕事が取ってほしいです。

So, I want to do something interesting with my time here.

他の人も手伝ってあげたくて、日本語が話したくて、何かが作りたいですよ！

I want to help people, and speak Japanese with them, and make things!

一人だけでさえもいいですよ。

Even if it is just one person.

でも、日本に続きたいならビサが必要ですね。

However, if I want to stay in Japan, I need a visa.

それで、好きか嫌いか、実用的に考えなければなりません。

So, like it or not, I need to think more practically.

ビサのために実用的な道を選べばよかったですね。

To get a visa, taking a more traditional, practical path is better.

私の運が良いで、子どもに英語を教えることが好きです。

Luckily, I enjoy teaching kids English.

私が高校生の時にいろいろな人私が応援しましたから、今子どもたちに応援することもしたいです。

When I was a high school student, lots of people helped support me, so I want to pay it forward and support these kids' dreams, too.

でも、時々「これがもったいないですね。他の仕事に変わったほうがいいよ、サリー。」と黒い思い出せて浮かびられます。

But sometimes, I think 'Oh, this is kind of a waste, it would be better for you to go get a different job, Sally'.

私が来年からなにをする私がまだわかりません。

I still don't know what I will be doing come next year.

その私もう不明です。

That future is still so obscured to me.

でも、日本語が上達にしたいだし、芸術もしたいだし、他の人の夢芋スッポートが是帯にしたいとよく分かります。

However, I know I want to get better at Japanese, I want to make beautiful things, and I want to help support other people achieve their dreams.

そのような仕事はなんの仕事かな？

I wonder what kind of job is like that?
