Have you ever heard of the word Korsi? It's an Arabic word meaning chair, but it means table in Persian. It's not a typical table, but a table with a heater underneath and a bunch of colorful handwoven wool blankets above/over.

It usually looks cozy, beautiful, and warm (literally and figuratively). There's a big tray full of nuts and fruits on the Korsi.

Although I'm from the tropics and it's my first time experiencing it, but it's a lovely reminder of the past.

When we were eating dinner at the Korsi tonight, my friend told me a story of her grandpa sitting at the korsi and eating together while their sheep were back from the fields. Their room also was kind of dark with a little lamp just like tonight.

Korsi is my nest these nights. My feet are warm and I can enjoy the snowy air on my face when I sleep. My heart is warm and I can enjoy my friends wise words. My mind is clear and I can enjoy reading books written in English. My soul is happy and I can see my friend as a bird in disguise.
