Under the Weather with a Cold

by

Hello all. How have you been? I’m speaking into my iPad mic today to write this text just because I’m lying down with a cold. Well, must properly explain why I’m doing this kind of thing at the moment. I’ve caught a cold and I’ve had a high temperature and thought I really need to have some rest. And yes, I’m having a lie down and talking directly into my microphone. So in this post, I’m pretty sure I will make many mistakes, and also it’s really not a written form so I might not be able to finish my sentence and I’ll be trying to say the same thing in a different way.

So, last week, actually last weekend, I went to an art museum with my husband. The museum was along the way up to a shrine with steps. Lots of steps. They went on forever. And it was a very cold day. I was fine because I wore layers, but my husband kept saying he was feeling really cold and was struggling with those steps, panting slightly. But anyway, we enjoyed the visit to the museum and every drawing was brilliant. Proper amazing!

And the next day my husband came down with a high temperature so he was off work. He took two days off. And a few days later, my throat started hurting. Felt like it was all swollen at the back. Hurt a bit when I swallowed. I’m pretty sure he passed it on to me. And it's getting worse. I have a high temperature and I’m feeling bored, so here I am, talking about this miserable situation into my microphone. But it’s okay. It’s much easier than sitting in front of my PC and trying to write everything accurately . Hope this cold doesn’t drag on. I’m planning to have a quiet weekend.
