When I woke up, my friend asked me if I'd like to go for a walk with her. I said" Of course."
It was freezing outside that she lent me some of her clothes. I was surprised and told her that I never wear this much clothes in the winter. She said, " You'll notice later."
Then we went for a walk. The first street was so slippery that I couldn't take a picture, but the mountains were so beautiful that I didn't give up.
My friend asked me if I wanted to see her garden. I accepted. She said it's a hundred meters ahead. We walked in the snow, on the narrow slopes and on the mud until we got to a frozen river.
She said, "This is my garden." I said," There's no wall or a fence?" She said, "I'm not crazy. I don't even get why people grow a garden and build walls around it, block all the beautiful scenery and don't let anyone in. This is my garden. Everyone is welcome. I don't have to buy it with money. I sit next to the river and watch the birds, dogs and other animals enjoying themselves."
I was like, "Well, I was expecting a warm tea, a cozy place to warm myself up, and a crazy guard dog to scare me. Now, I'm going to stay here until the spring."
She said, "Don't complain! I'm proud of us that we didn't give up on this dangerous walk. I come here daily, but it was never like this before."
Then she took my hand so that I'd be safe as her guest. We carried some branches to her apartment. She wanted to put them on the balcony, so that the birds could enjoy their visits more. We climbed upstairs with the branches on our backs, laughing happily and satisfied.
