I haven't smoked for 48 hours and it has boosted my confidence drastically. Honestly, quitting is difficult. That's why I feel great, empowered actually, when I can keep myself away from cigarettes. The best feeling is when you say no to temptation while everyone around you is smoking.
This morning, I woke up at 5:59 am and felt great, which happens every once in a blue moon. It was because my body was nicotine-free. I prefer this kind of sleeplessness. I even drafted this post.
There's a crisp foggy atmosphere all around the village. Before I wash up, I open the door and check on the mountain and smell the fresh air.
Then I pick up my phone to take a picture. I really want to go for a hike in this weather, but everyone is sleeping now. Should I go for a walk alone in misty mountains? I wish I had a close friend here. My close friends don't like walking though. I'd have to walk alone anyway. Let's just be grateful that I can see this beautiful morning, I'm alive, and I can see, hear, walk, and breathe.
I think after I get used to being a non-smoker, I'll try to be a healthy eater. One new habit at a time.

Yay, way to go, Zobayda!!
Anyway, have you smoked hookah? I've never smoked anything in my entirely life, but I've visited some hookah shops with my close American friend in Michigan. Her husband is from Iraq and he used to smoke it. I think hookah is really cool!!!
Thanks, Yumi! @yumiyumayume Good for you. Never try it... or maybe try it only one time😆
In my neck of the woods, hooka is something for old people. That's why I'd never tried/liked it before going to university. Now, I might do it occasionally when I travel. I've done it twice this year. I had fun doing it. It's cool because you do it with your friends and it brings people together just like coffee or tea. Otherwise, it's just more unhealthy than cigarettes. It also takes time to prepare and clean afterwards.
Bravo, Zobayda! Keep going!
I believe that everybody has a kind of addictive habit. And if they want to get rid of it, they have to replace it with something else (healthy and positive thing, of course) For me, it's sweet! :DD
I hope I will follow your example and stop (or maybe reduce the daily amount) one day!
Thank you, Zz! Now I'm thinking of a good replacement 🤔
