I just finished reading my second book called "The Artist Way" in English this year. This book says everybody has creativity, but maintaining it is difficult because there are various obstacles such as work, family, daily errands, school, mood and more. When we can't do whatever we truly want, we feel stress. The book introduces us how to overcome our own obstacles and keep motivating for our nature creativity.
I'm very curious about the technique "morning note" suggested by the author. According to her, after waking up, we should write down our thoughts and feelings by hand on fully three pages every single day. This book presents a twelve-week program and encourage readers to follow it. The author, Julia Cameron believes that this practice helps unlock our creativity, and it's effective to increase our self-confidence and avoid to be affected by criticism from others. While trying this program, we'll be more creative and better artists!! I think this is very interesting and I'd love to follow. However, I'm not sure if I can keep one hour to follow her idea about the morning note. I've been busy all the time and finding the hour for the program seems challenging. But without trying, I can’t judge whether it will truly benefit me, so I’d like to give it a shot.
Keeping creativity deeply relays on our moods. That's why I have other creative hobbies like gardening, knitting, baking or cooking. I believe all of these activities contribute to my creative expression as well.
Nevertheless, I’d like to be more mindful of how I manage my time to be more productive. I'll start my morning pages tomorrow!

Yumi @yumiyumayume : I am not an expert in the analysis of creativity but, apart from the habits that we can create in our daily lives, for me creativity is a state of consciousness that is nourished day by day by the conscious observation of everything around us and that gives us the necessary impulse to design different things.
Thank you for your opinion, @druida! I think everyday we are finding something and it's hard for us to memorize everything we find. That's why we need these activities like writing down on a notebook. I've already found writing down three pages every day is difficult even thought today is my first day, lol! So, I'm not sure how long I'll manage this.
Oh, the book is in my TBR for quite some time, since I see a lot of journalers on YouTube doing this "morning pages" rituals. I've seen more and more Japanese joining it these days, and it's fascinating. I wanted to know why it's three pages in particular and if the size of the notebook matters or not. I've seen people practicing exactly that, but I've seen many adjusting it in their own way as well.
Hi, @Lariza!Thank you for reading my entry and leaving a comment. I have the same questions—why three pages? And what size notebook? I hadn’t thought about checking YouTube, but that’s actually a great idea! I’ll look for some videos about the morning notes. Thank you for mentioning it!
