Yesterday, I reported a nearby house for waste burning to the council. They conducted an on-site investigation today and found evidence of the burning. They informed the household that waste burning is illegal. They also suggested that I report it to the police if it ever happens again. I have a feeling they are likely to do it again.

Unlike others in this area who might just tolerate it or try to forget it as if it didn't happen, I won't. If they burn again, I'll report it right away.
