Since winters in Japan are very harsh, I don't grow anything in my garden. I've tried to grow root vegetables a couple of times, but they weren't so great. Instead, I enjoy growing broccoli sprouts indoors. They're incredibly easy to grow!
I absolutely love using organic seeds.
Watching them grow is so fascinating!
I place a hydroponics container with the seeds by a window where they can get plenty of sunlight. In a couple of days, they starts growing. The tiny sprouts look very delicate and cute!
Everyday, I change the water to keep everything clean. They grow so quickly that the very next day, they look like this.
In a few more days, they're ready to eat!
I use them mainly for salads. I've heard that broccoli sprouts are rich in sulforaphane, which helps prevent cancer and aids in detoxification . They also rich in dietary fiver and vitamins, making them a super healthy food.

I think this is a great idea; especially in winter when it is so cold outside because vegetation would have trouble surviving the harsh snow we have had today. Enjoy your meals with the broccoli stems.
Good morning @bakerboy001 ! It's fun to grow veggies. I love growing them because my homegrown vegitables make everything taste better. That's because I think I have a thought that I've grown them. Thank you!
