I’ve learned a new phrase again. The roof of my mouth was itching, and I needed to scratch it, but I couldn’t explain it to my GF. She explained to me that it’s called "scratching the roof of your mouth."
But I've also realized that the top of a wall can’t be called the roof; it’s the ceiling.
Well… you learn something new every day when it comes to English. :D
