I think 幸 is read as Yuki only when it's in a proper noun.

Thank you, @Akiko ! I think so too, it reads as yuki only in names, as I've read in a dictionary after the lesson. But the whole conversation was in Russian, and I couldn't see the characters in teacher's name during the lesson. And I knew that yuki is also snow, hence the confusion 😅
