Two days ago we all were glad because the first allotment of COVID-19 vaccine arrived. It's a small amount, however it will serve to protect health care workers on the front line. Today, we received the most feared news, one nurse of our staff member, a very kind person, was transferred to ICU. That make me reflect how fragile humans are, how our life can turn dramatically in a matter of seconds, it seems that we're all living on borrowed time. I really hope my friend recovers soon and live a full life. She remained uninfected for almost a year, it would be cruelty of fate that with so little time for the vaccination, she won't make it. However, I feel confident, doctors are now more experienced in treating this disease.
I wish I have written about another topic, but this is all I have in my mind. Be careful, this pandemic is not over yet
I am glad that vaccines are becoming available but I am so sorry for the staff member who got seriously ill. I hope she recovers fully and soon. Medical staff around the world have gone through so much during this pandemic and I am so grateful to all of them for their incredible work. I hope that through proper covid-19 prevention and more vaccinations, that everyone can stay safe and that medical workers can have less pressure put on them. Thank you for this post!
I'm so sad to hear about the illness of your friend and co-worker. I will keep her in my prayers. You did a good job on your writing.
@UrsaRomero As @Kezza & @kathleen_s already said earlier, the whole society is really grateful to the medical staff around the world for their incredible work during the Covid-9 period. I hope your co-worker will recover soon and take care yourself too!
Nice job on your post. I'm so sorry about your friend. It's understandable that this is the only thing you have on your mind right now.
Sending prayers to your friend, my dad had Covid last month and I know how scary it is. I hope writing about it gave you some relief.
I'm really grateful for your encourage and good wishes. This site is full of kind and generous people.
