My brother's exhibition is just around the corner, so his friends come over more often. I feel out of place there, so because I wanted to let them talk about their work without me staring at them, I told my friend that I wanted to see her tomorrow, which is today, and she said, "I'll be at work, but you can come".

Now, I'm sitting on the stairway in the building where she works, but it's so quiet and she's not here yet.

I woke up at 12 with puffing eyes because it was early comparing to 2 pm when we usually wake up. My brother's friend called and said that they were off to his house. So, I called our version of Uber and came to my friend's work.

I'm sure she's still asleep because we chatted at 4 am and her last seen was 9 am. I didn't call her, but sat down on the stairway waiting for her to come. Do I really live in the owl world? (I'm saying this because I'm a member of a Skype group called Owl Company where we speak after midnight.)

It just dawned on me that it's a holiday today. Is she even going to come? Let's kill some time.

OK. I watched "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse" and an Easy Spanish video. She's not here, but there's another lady sitting next to me smoking something. She's also carrying a bag, two phones and a flower. I guess my friend has stood her up, too.

Oh, a tired looking lady is coming out of the elevator. Yep. There she is. Let's go inside and keep writing this on the more uncomfortable chairs.
