As the discussion swirled around the mysterious message, Agnes leaned back in her chair. "You know," she said, her voice soft yet commanding attention, "there was a Beatrice in this town once. Bright-eyed, curious and peculiar. Always on the adventures."

"What kind of adventure?" Ben asked.

"All kinds," Agnes replied, a wistful smile appearing on her lips. "She was drawn to mysteries like moths to a flame. Always searching for something more, something beyond the ordinary."

Amelia, run her fingers along the edges of the worn book. "Do you think this note is meant for her?"

Agnes shrugged. "Who's to say? But if anyone followed rabbits down holes, it'd be Beatrice."

Rhea adjusted her glasses, her mind whirring with possibilities, "Maybe this note is a warning. Like in the story, Alice followed the rabbit and found herself in a world of chaos and confusion. Perhaps Beatrice stumbled into something similar."

"So, what do we do? Do we try to find Beatrice?" Ben's eyes widened.

"Well, we could give it a try." Amelia uttered.

"This is going to be fun," Ben muttered as he's chafing his hands.

To be continued.
