She was putting on a dress on when a man's arms back-hugged her. She didn't need to turn toward the man to know who it was. It was none other than her dear husband whom she loves passionately. Yesterday, the couple had an argument and had shaken each other's heart with painful words that they didn't really mean. The heat of the moment had pushed them to argue over nothing, but today, she knew that her husband was trying to make it up to her. After years of marriage, she knew him by heart and so did he.

Long kisses along her neck, his breath caressing her skin. She felt butterflies on her stomach as if it were the first day of their love. Her love for him had never faded or unwavered. Quite the opposite, those dark moments reminded them how much they love one another no matter how much ups and downs life would throw at them.

"Are you ready, my lady?"asked the man. The woman didn't say anything, but nodded her head.

Tonight, they were headed to the restaurant to celebrate their 47th wedding anniversary. How funny? Yesterday, they were on bad terms with each other, yet no one had forgotten to dress up for that special event.

The man was dressed in a fancy black smoking which went well with her woman's black outtfit. Her heels could be heard in the town, and the same old neighbors who had seen them grow together for years, were clapping their hands from their windows each time they'd catch sight of them. The couple had never enough of that sight and proudly walked in direction of their car. After driving away, they could only glimpse the silhouettes of their neighbors until they couldn't see them anymore.

"I love you!"said the man to his wife, taking one of her hands in his, but the woman abruptly removed her hands and pointed at the road, which made him laugh.

"Just because I love you doesn't mean that I want to die with you in this car!" she exclaimed.
