Part 3

The note

Then, when I saw the note, I noticed that all letters in the note had a strange accentuation. I didn't understand why my grandfather would send to me a note that didn't make sense. But I was feeling something weird, when I saw the note with all those weird letters. I looked at the last word: "Praha". Suddenly, I thought: "oh boy... what does Praha mean? I love you old man but you're crazy!" Then I look up from the note and I see the atlas, it was opened and I read that big title: "Prague". Then I saw the last word in the note, and I thought again... "Praha... Prague... Praha... Prague! It's Prague! No way! It something about Prague!". I runed to my bedroom, I took my phone and just when I was writing the content of the note in the translator, I thought: "Oh boy, this is the easier way. Maybe my grandfather thought that his grandson would be able to translate and decipher the content inside the note".

When I closed the translator, and I put my phone on my bed, I make a promised with myself, I will be searching the meaning but only studying Czech. That was three years ago, and even now I don't have idea what's that note mean. That was the beginning of a great adventure in language learning, and since I saw that note, I have been studying English because many Czech courses (a big part of them) are in English.

I'm Keeping my promise old man! Wherever you are, I'm keeping my promise...
