I am learning a proper way to draw head, and apart from construction itself the hard thing for me is to make myself do it in right way instead of how I'm used to do it when I draw just some sketches. Sometimes I simply forget about it, especially when I'm in a hurry. But this is exactly the way to level up through training. It will take time, but I'll get used to it eventually. Though I still allow myself to do it the old way when I'm super tired and need to draw to relieve stress or as quick as possible in order not to forget the idea.
Habits are hard to change. And it reminded me of how when learning language at first you learn to speak your ideas using already acquired vocabulary and grammar and when you progress, you need to remind and make yourself use another words too.
Indulging into art learning made me think again about how different activities are learned and acquired by the same basic principles. From elements to the whole, from easier to more complicated things.
Good luck with learning a new way to draw heads! It remember being frustrated sometimes when I was trying to learn to do things differently in my art, but it is worth it, I promise!
@Boxertrots Thank you!
