Hey I'm Rodrigo! I really want to tell you about my English learning process. When I started this process, I saw how seemed was the languages learning and the character construction of an actor. Now I keep my approach about this particular, because it's one of the most effective techniques to remember anything, dialogues, new words, grammatical rules and things like that. But what is that technique and how can you apply it for develop your skills? The best way is using the situational mind. When my director give me a new character and therefore, new dialoges, I have just three, or if I'm lucky four days to learn thousands and thousands of new words, new phrases and new slang!
So, how can I learn all this content quickly? Well, practicing with different situations. When you create a situation your brain works harder imagining the differents scenarios, and then, you're just enjoying the siuations, the words, the physical actions and the new content that you're studying. Basically you are studying without study, and do you know why? Because you are so concentrated on just doing it that you forget all your fears in that moment. Knowing that, if you use this method as an extra in your activities, maybe in the near future you can develop your skills with this funny technique.
Playing a character is an easier way to learn whatever you want, therefore, it's the best way if you want learn languages or learn a libretto.
Note: I did this post 3 hours ago and I forgot to save the draft.. When I was checking in my page and the file wasn't there... oh boy... that was really sad. However, there is my post. Cheers for my 5th month learning English
@Rodgrio, your English is absolutely fantastic for just 5 months! The fact that you are able to acquire thousands new words and phrases in a few days is absolutely incredible! Good job! Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much @Olivia! I've been studying three hours per day and I'm feeling more confortable writing and reading.
@Rodrigo ¡Qué método tan interesante! Voy a intentar incorporando este método a mis estudios
¡Te lo recomiendo mucho! Es super entretenido y dinámico
You have a very candid (meaning you capture your feelings and imagery very well in writing) style of writing.
Thank you @Weijun! I'm using some techniques from my native language and I try to use it when I'm writing in English. I've been influenced by some British playwright.
