The line chart provides how the prices of nickel, copper, and zinc changed monthly during 2014.

Overall, the prices of these three metals fluctuated wildly throughout the period. The percentage changes of them decreased at the beginning of the year, rebounded from July, remained stable from July to September, and rose at the end of the year.

Regarding nickle, in January 2014, its price increased by 6% compared with the previous month. After that, the percentage change fell dramatically and reached a low of -3%. Then, it increased to -1% in the following month. This figure stayed unchanged from July to September, before dropping to -2% in October. It rose to 1% in November and remained stable until December.

In terms of copper, in January, its price rose 2% compared to the December of 2013. This number decreased slowly and reached a low of -0.5% in March. It stayed the same from May to June. Then, it rose to 1% in July and remained unchanged from July to September. After that, it declined slightly in October and rose again, reaching 1.5% at the end of the period.

Speaking of zinc, the price of zinc increased only 1% in January. However, it rocketed to 3% in February, before falling slowly and reaching a low of -1% in June. Then, it rose to 0.5% in July and stayed stable until September. After that, this number decreased slightly to -1%, before rising to 2% in December.
