I was watching a video about language learning, and it was quite interesting. Adrià (the author of the video) basically talks about three strategies he uses in order to master a language fast. The first one is about pressure. Clearly, having specific goals and deadlines are important to stop procrastinating when learning a language. That's the reason why he schedules a test.
The second step of his method is to talk with a native about a common situation. The point is to create flashcards with the vocabulary you used, and, of course, review those flashcards using the Spaced Repetition System.
The third step is to focus on the basics. He also mentions the importance of feedback, and getting over your fear of making mistakes.

Great post! Everything makes sense :) I think the only thing I would change is that when you say "he schedules a test," it's a bit confusing as to what you mean. Do you mean an official, proxied test, where people are giving him feedback on the progress he's made? I assumed that's what you meant, but just saying "he schedules a language test" might make it more clear! :) Great job, though!! English is hard, it's good to see you make progress! :)
Yes, that's what I meant. Thanks for your useful feedback!
