I am gonna start this post with the phrase that I really like:
"Our brain is a supercomputer and our self talk is a programme it runs."
This phrase means that we have to be mindfull of our self-talk. Often this self-talk is negative. For example, we often say, " I am not good enough," "I am not doing well,"and so on. So I am gonna tell you what I have learned about eliminating or atleast reducing this negative self-talk.
We will learn a mental magic trick with a word ABRACADABRA.
We are gonna use the first four letters of this word.
A- acknowledge
Instead of fighting with that negative thought, try to acknowledge that it exists
because what we resist persists.
B- breathe in
R-release
So now you will breathe in that thought and try to release it.
A-align
Now align yourself with a new positve thought which is the opposite of that negative thought you had about yourself.
