I'm preparing for the C1 Cambridge exam so I'm practicing writing. I would like you to assess this one, please. The exercise is about discussing how can schools and universities help to ensure that students do not suffer from stress during the exam period. The essay should discuss two of these three methods, in 220-260 words:
- support from tutors
- a structured revision timetable prior to exams
- time for relaxation and leisure activities

Since primary school years, students get used to be assessed quite often by taking several exams. As the school grade increase, the pressure not to resit an exam gets higher. In order to avoid that pressure and stress that many students suffer, schools and universities ought to provide students strategies and methods to go through exam periods mentally healthy.
Having someone who you can trust on and who you can share your fears and insecurities with, can have huge benefits as an student. Nevertheless, I personally believe that this support must come mainly from professors and tutors, so they are truly aware of what appears more difficult for the students, in terms of academic-related issues. To make this more effective, it should be personalized to each student as much as possible, since personal preferences and circumstances have a big impact in this regard.
The time students spend studying should be in balance with their free time. In my opinion, universities need to expend more resources in organizing activities and plans for the students to disconnect from their studies and to having fun with their classmates. Such activities could be taking part of sport teams, performing mindfulness programmes, teaching relaxing methods, etcetera.
In conclusion, I strongly believe that nowadays, ensuring students’ good quality of mental and physical health by schools and universities is more important than ever before. Mainly, I would like to highligh the importance of spend time for relaxation and for activities you enjoy to prevent being burnout and anxious during exam periods.
