Yesterday, I was watching Marques Brownlee's video, he has a Youtube channel where he records videos about a lot of things related to tech, e.g smartphone reviews, laptop reviews, gadgets, etc...
He recently created a new youtube channel where he's only going to post videos about his thoughts related to eletric cars.
And as he's constantly using different smartphones he decided to only record videos with them, so his public can have an idea how good is the recording quality of that smarphone.
With that said, I watched a video where he showed what it is like to drive a Tesla self-driving.
Before watching this video, I always thought it would nice to be able to have a car driving itself. You'd only need to insert in the map where you want to go, and the car would find the better route for you, and it would be fine.
Obviously, I know in cases like that you have to once in a while to correct the car, because it'll make mistakes during the travel, and also you have to touch in the steering whell so the "car" knows you're not sleeping.
However, after watching that video I have totally changed my mind.
It is going to take a long time before we can really trust in a car to drive us.
You have to change the car's direction a lot of times, you have to keep looking in the display of the car so you can ensure the car is going to the right direction, and also check if the is not going hit on a curb or in another car.
The feeling that I got from that video is driving a car yourself is much easier and less worrisome than the car driving itself.
