Today, was one of those hectic days when you need to manage some important personal issues and at the same time cope with your job.
I’m so obsessed when it comes to figuring out the best practices to improve your English that sometimes I come across those kind of Instagram (IG) lives from my go-to English couches; that I feel the urge to participate in, but unfortunately most of them happen in my work hours. So I’ve come across myself doing acrobatics arrangement between my work’s duties and IG lives.
I’ve never regretted doing that because at the end of the day I attain my to-do-list work and grasp some tips and clarity for my English. For instance; today, I could be aware the nuance pronunciation in American Accent of the word “man” and “cat”, despite of the International Phonetic Alphabet describes the vowel of those two words with the same symbol (/mæn/ and /cæt/).
that's cool that you think you found a balance in what you want to do and what you have to do. In my case, I try to have a balance but whenever I decide on one, I try it for about a week and adjust it. Does that make it better? Or am I just making excuses for myself? I guess we'll never know
