I love books! I love reading! I really love reading books!

I love holding a book in my hands, opening and smelling its pages, and looking at its cover.

I like to read the good ones again and again. One of them, the good books, is "The Richest Man in Babylon" written by George Samuel Clason.

I will share with you my opinion and my thoughts about this book.

I bought that book about three years ago and it literally changed my thinking about money and how to handle my finances.

The book contains simple small stories happening in ancient Babylon, where rich people share their knowledge about money with the poor. The latter want to know how to escape poverty, debt, and slavery.

At the end of each chapter, there is a simple principle, It's so simple that the first thought that comes to mind is, "I know that. There's no need to hear it from someone". However, most of us never apply what we learn and we need a small nudge and a gentle reminder.

Bear in mind, though, that this book was written many many years ago. I believe around the '60s. (Sorry I can't be bothered to stand up from my laptop and go search my library right now :) ). Back then, maybe people didn't have all the knowledge we today have access to.

Bottom line, has my financial situation changed by reading that book? The answer is definitely a big "yes". I don't make the money I want, I'm not rich, I don't have enough money to invest and I haven't created the life I want to live..... YET.

And that's the point. The most significant word here is that 'yet'. I make progress every day, I have goals, I know exactly where I want to go, and I work hard in that direction.

Reading books changed my life. If you don't read books, please start now!

Thank you all for reading! :)
