Yesterday I laid out how a series of good habits performed on a daily basis would help me to transform little steps into great results in the long run. I want basically a simple daily routine that drives me to keep fit, work efficiently and continue improving my English.
So, one of my goals this year is to become an English reader and to do that every morning I wake up, make some coffee, take my book and I read about 1 hour. Then I prepare my breakfast and while it gets done I take a shower next I eat my breakfast afterwards I begin to work. Taking advantage that now I’m telecommuting that means I don’t spend time going to a physical office, I’m working a little more earlier that gives the chance to take a longer break, and I’m using this time to do my English pronunciation program. So you can guess another goal of mine is to be fluent in English. I truly believe that the best hour to study a language it's the moment of the day when you feel really focused and alert and for me it’s in the mornings about 10 am.
After my work’s morning I usually take my lunch and subsequently I take a little pause before I start working again, listening to some English podcast for about 10 to 15 minutes. Then I work until my work’s day ends.
Later I put my sneakers on and run 5 km and I do some calisthenics’s exercises. I’m finishing when the sun is going down, so doing this routine helps me to attain my other goal of keeping me in shape. After that I take a shower again and afterwards I take my dinner and subsequently I write some sentences like this journaling entry that put my on the way to become a writer. And at the end of the day for a relaxing time I watch one of my favorite series on Netlix and later I go to sleep.
Great job--I really like the way you write! I, too, keep a daily routine to help me achieve similar goals. I am of the opinion that having a routine to fall back on--especially when things get tough--is a great way to make sure that you can stick to the things that are important to you or to get back into things if you fall off track.
