Just lately, I discovered that I have a huge interest in becoming a polyglot. As a matter of fact, I've always wanted to be a one but never knew how to study a language effectively. Whenever I got that burst of motivation for languages I would create a list of languages that I want to learn in the future. Looking back now, Im only left with bunch of lists and wrong studying approaches that made me think languages aren't my thing. I've always wanted to be a polyglot, but I was never sure if I would be able to do it. I would go about the langauge I'm studying randomly, and even worst I used to start with grammar as the first step into that language. Nope, never worked. After many wrong methods and mistakes, I learned how to learn a language. Once I started seeing results, I thought to myslef this could be my new hobby. The fact that learning a language opens many doors to you and gives you the chance to communicate with other people all around the world, fascinates me. It doesnt matter if you are not fluent yet in the language you have been studying for years, if you are able to connect with others, you are fluent. Before, I thought being a polyglot would make me stand out, but now I think it makes me blend in.
