皆さんこんにちは。Kobeです。

So today I wanted to share how I use sentences to practice Japanese.

This is something I like to call:

🔌PLUG AND PLAY🎮

I basically take a sentence, take out key words while leaving the grammar and plug-in (put in) my own.

For example, I’ll use a sentence that I just read from a video transcript.

私は苦いコーヒーよりも甘いコーヒーの方が好きです

(I prefer sweet coffee rather than bitter coffee)

Now let’s take out 苦いコーヒー(Bitter coffee) and 甘いコーヒー(Sweet Coffee) and leave everything else the same

The sentence should look like this:

私は___よりも___の方が好きです

(As for me__rather than___ I prefer)

👆🏾 *Literal translation*

Now, let’s say I want to say something like

(“I prefer PlayStation rather than Xbox”🤔) I would just plug-in these words into the sentence

私はXboxよりもPlayStationの方が好きです

And there you go that’s usually how I do it 😅

⚠️I am not a native Japanese speaker, so if you see any mistakes with my explanation please just let me know🙏🏾🙇🏽‍♂️

Hopefully this was helpful to all of my fellow Japanese learners 😁

じゃあまたねー👋🏾
