Before today, all I really knew about Toki Pona was that is was a "conlang" (artificial language) like Esperanto, but the more I read into it today the more intrigued I became. I find it fascinating that you can make yourself understood in simple terms with just 123 words!
You read that right, 123, give or take!
I'm seriously considering a crash course in Toki Pona so I can "get one under my belt" and that will give me a confidence boost with Esperanto, which will take longer to learn.

Definitely interested in this language as well.
Thanks for teaching me the term "conlang"! I may have to look into Toki Pona as well.
