Have you ever seen the movie Soul? If not, probably at least you have heard about it here and there. It's a new animation movie by Pixar and Disney, and it's available on Disney Plus. So, if you haven't watched it yet, go over there and give it a shot. It'll worth it!

Soul is a movie for everyone. It doesn't matter your age at all. I would say that even if you are an adult, you'll need to watch the movie more than once to understand it through and through (if that's possible anyhow). I'm under the impression that every time you watch this movie, you'll realize something different in it, or you'll look at something differently. Not only because it approaches many topics, but also because we, as human beings, are always changing.

As the name suggests, this movie talks about Soul. However, it goes further and also talks about all the things related to that, such as life, death, and life's purpose. It provides food for thought. It makes us rethink things like what we are doing here on Earth, how we approach life, dreams, and goals. Of course, it goes for language learning as well. What do we want to achieve? Are we far away from where we want to be? What matters more, the process or the achievement? I don't want to give any spoilers here, but check out this short dialogue from the movie and think about it. Let me just introduce the context: Joe had just achieved his "life goal".

Dorothea : What's wrong, Teach?
Joe : It's just I've been waiting on this day for... my entire life. I thought I'd feel different.
Dorothea : [beat] I heard this story about a fish. He swims up to this older fish and says, "I'm trying to find this thing they call the ocean." "The ocean?" says the older fish. "That's what you're in right now." "This?" says the young fish. "This is water. What I want is the ocean." [Joe just stares, bewildered]
Dorothea : See you tomorrow.

So, that's it for today, guys. If you're reading this, it probably means that you read the whole text, so I want to thank you so much!! By the way, if some of you have watched this movie before, let me know your thoughts about it :)
