I was listening to a podcast that Elon Musk was been interviewed. The interviewer asked a question that intrigued me and made me think about this subject, so, I'd like to write it down and share my thoughts, even if sometimes I think this discussion about humans x robots is boring.

The question was: if you could hire someone for an amount of money per month or buy a robot exclusive for you for another amount of money, what would you do? I don't remember the values, I assume I ignored it because my first indignant thought was: even if it would be cheaper to hire someone, people will prefer to buy a robot!!!

I know relationships could be difficult sometimes, because it includes a balance between what you want and the other person wants, and maybe some conflicts could happen. Also, I agree that the employer and employee relationship is a challenge for many people. However, I don't like to imagine the solution for those "cons" is to replace humans. If so, I'm sad to think about this lonely future we're building.

I love to be surrounded by people and I'm not saying it's always easy, but I really don't want to lose all the gains that I have only because there are obstacles. I prefer to deal with them rather than be alone! I totally believe relationships could be better and better, if those who are involved are committed to it. Communication is a key to improve connections, and it implies to talk sincerely but also to listen attentively. I don't think it would be possible in a relationship with robots (sorry if I am not aware of real technology potencial!), I tend to think it's a mode to order a way of thinking without ever being disagreed.

Sure I agree everyone should say what they want to say, be what they want to be, do what they want to do, if it doesn't hurt anybody! Don't you think this society "me first" or "only what I think matters" could create the impossibility to live with anybody else?
