Fernando Alonso is considered one of the best F1 drivers in the world. He is not the most awarded driver, since he has only won the F1 world championship twice, but his ability on the road has made him be respected by the greatest people in the motor world. He is the reason why a whole country started watching a sport that nobody would have cared about. All people in Spain sat down every Sunday to watch F1 Grand Prix just to see Alonso.

Alonso left F1in 2018 to focus his career on other motorsports competitions. In 2020, he announced his comeback to Formula 1 with Renault (now Alpine) the team that give him the car with which he won both championships. This was a very exciting moment for Spanish F1 lovers. Although we already had a Spanish driver in F1, Carlos Sainz, the comeback of Fernando was thrilling.

Despite the excitement, we really knew that in the 2021 season Alpine did not have the car needed to get big achievements like winning the World Championship, nevertheless, he left us enjoyable moments like the third place in Qatar or the fight to maintain the position in Hungary. Although we did not have big expectations, he started with the idea of El Plan (The Plan) for the next season. They claimed that the team had the key to developing a competitive car for the next year. We all started to dream with the idea of seeing Fernando fighting for great things.

The 2022 season has started, in theory, the year when El Plan would be fully released. The first tests did not show signs of improvement, and the first three races have not been not good at all for him. This moment is when we all have started to see El Plan as a joke, and we sadly begin to think that we will not see again the Fernando Alonso that we saw in his best years.
