Tomorrow is Monday.
I used to hate Mondays like almost everyone else, but for the past few Sundays, I've caught myself actually looking forward to them.
"Why is that?" I wondered. The answer surprised me. I realized that I haven't hated Mondays for a few years now.
I want to start the week over again and work on my goals, continue building on good habits, and have a fresh start.
I usually spend time with my family and friends on the weekend outside, playing board games, going with my wife and kids to parks, theaters, cinema, etc.
Every weekend I tell myself that I have plenty of time to study programming, for example, but I never have as much time for myself as I'd like to.
Every day now I wake up around 5:30 and study until it's time to wake my kids up for school.
I like that and I'll continue doing it. It gives me a feeling of accomplishment. That I have done something for myself before going to work for someone else.
Thanks for reading :)
I love using that early-morning time before the busy day starts, too! And Sundays are definitely better when you don't spend them dreading Mondays, so I like your approach :)
I am using this early morning time for two years now. I wake up at least one hour earlier than everyone else in the house. I used to write in my journal and read a book. What you say about Sundays is a tremendous benefit when anticipating Mondays to come :)
