Maybe someone can help me with this "to do list" and the usage of หรือยัง in general.
First of I am not sure if I found the correct translation of every point in this list and secondly I am also not really sure how to answer correctly them. Especially with a longer sentences like พาหมาไปเดินเล่น.
The structure of the homework is:
- ทำหรือยัง
- Q: ...หรือยัง
- A: ... แล้ว or ยังไม่ได้...
below the list I tried to answer the first two points on the list.
รายการสิ่งที่ต้องทำ (to do list)
- Mop the floor = ถูพื้น
- Do the shopping = ซื้อของ
- Walk the dog = พาหมาไปเดินเล่น
- To fix the chair = ซ่อมเก้าอี้
- To do the washing-up = ล้างจาน
- Dry the dishes = เช็ดจานให้แห้ง / เช็ดให้แห้ง
- put up the mirror = ติดกระจก
- water the plants = รดน้ำต้นไม้
- make the bed = จัดที่นอน or? จัดเตียงนอน
- wash the clothes = ซักผ้า
- do the ironing = รีดผ้า
- get books from the library = รับหนังสือจากห้องสมุด
ทำหรือยัง
- ถูพื้นหรือยัง = คุณถูพื้นหรือยัง = ถูพื้นแล้ว / ยังไม่ได้ถูพื้น
- พาหมาไปเดินเล่น = คุณพาหมาไปเดินเล่นหรือยัง = ผมพาหมาไปเดินเล่นหรือยัง / ผมยังไม่ได้พาหมาไปเดินเล่นหรือยัง

คุณ(ทำ/verb)..(noun)..หรือยัง = Have you (done/ verb) ..(something/ noun)..? ฉัน(ทำ/verb)แล้ว = I've done it. / I did it. ฉันยังไม่ได้(ทำ/verb) = I haven't done it yet.
*แล้ว = already *More naturally, we often omit the subject. So you can say, ทำแล้ว or ยังไม่ได้ทำ to answer the question. To be polite, please add ครับ (if you're a male) or ค่ะ (if you're a female) at the end of each sentence. *ยังไม่ได้ทำ and ยังไม่ได้ทำเลย can be used interchangeably. By adding เลย, it's a bit more cascual.
