What have you brought to the table today, Nori?
Heyo! Dear journalers, how are you feeling today? In case some of you don't know me, hi! I'm Nori, an eighteen-years-old Brazilian person who loves English :) Today's chapter's going to be a little different from usual, most of you may not know it. But I'm an anime guy big time, I also like playing games. And throughout my journey binge-watching an anime called Boku no Hero I've learned a simple but beautiful thing.
"If you feel yourself hitting up against your limit, remember for what cause you clench (close) your fists! Remember why you started down this path, and let that memory carry you beyond your limit, be your own hero." - All Might
The anime itself may not be real, but what this character said doesn't become any less real because of that. Many of us make ourselves victims and powerless due to some limitations. I've also slacked off many and many times and went off the track. And many times we caught ourselves not doing what's necessary to meet up with the life we want to lead. But remember, person, it's our responsibility to live out the life we want to have, we owe it to ourselves. How many times have I acted against what I say I want to do? A ton of times, but we, as people who have dreams, we owe it to ourselves. All of us have our limitations and disadvantages compared to many, for sure. And this is why we got to work twice as hard as they do, so we can surpass those limitations and be our own heroes. We need and we owe ourselves actions that go accordingly to what we want to live. The fact that we've got to push through without a mentor, a teacher, or someone at times will make us more capable and independent once we get there. Remember that you too can be a hero, not that kind of hero with power and all this stuff, but a hero who pushes through your biggest fears and make the life you want to live into a reality.
"There's nothing crueler than letting a dream die midway, become the hero you wanna be."
Shouta Aizawa and Shoto Todoroki~
Que bom! As suas palavras são muito inspirador!
I am also a big MHA fan and when this came on in the first episodes, I was hooked! 😎
@William_Kurtis_Nauenburg I'm happy you liked it!
@TG_KROENINGG174 So was I man! You've got a good taste :)
I'm so glad that the Japanese amine has inspired you a lot.
@Atsuko, yeah, it has! In fact I still use the theme "You can become a hero" as a background music when I'm preparing my material :)
