Hey! Today, I'll talk about one of my favorites series and my love for sign languages.
This series concern Deaf culture, family relationships and social problems. We follow Bay and Daphne's point of view, they were interchanged wich each other at birth. And because of Bay curiosity and a science project, she finds out about the switch, then their lies collide and we have an amazing T.V. show.
I really like Marlee Matlin, our Melody and Daphne's best friend's mother in this show. She does a terrific work wherever she works. I recently watch CODA and I love the mom's roles that she plays, she's so carismatic.
This is how I fell in love with Libras and sign languages in general, through a T.V. show. Unfortunately, I still don't know anything and have to content myself with watching people signing on YouTube.
I like the channel "Pergunta para Dádá", (I think the translation would be "Question to Dádá"). It's a channel of a Brazilian couple, but they aren't very frequent with their videos.
I also like "Sign Duo", they make videos more often and share how their Deaf-hearing relationship works.
P.S.: If you're learning French and like CODA, I recommend you to watch The Belier Family, it's the original movie and it's French.
