I created my account yesterday morning, but I’m writing my first post now. Why?
All day I was thinking about HOW to start. I had some thoughts and ideas, which I wanted to share but I couldn’t pick only one. So, I got stuck. This brings me to one reminder. For most of you it will be only one of the many clichés, but maybe for someone it will be as useful as it is for me.
Don’t look for the perfect way to start something new.
Doubts and thoughts will come, which might slow you down or even stop you.
I don’t mean acting/doing something without thinking.
Yes, think about it for a moment.
Sometimes there should be less thinking. Sometimes more. Then do something.
Know your WHY.
I knew my why, when I signed up here, on Journaly.
I want to improve my English and German.
I hope that I find a community which is also interested in improving language skills.
Community, which won’t judge anyone for making mistakes. That’s how we learn.
Now it sounds like some typical ultra-motivational speech.
But today I felt like I have to write something like this or I won’t start again and will wait for tomorrow.
Nice post!
Thank you for sharing. I had thought about what I should write here for some time after creating my account.
How inspirational!
Good start
Thank you all for your feed-back
