One Step at a Time

Every one of us has desires. Some of us want to become rich. Others want to travel all around the world and visit unique places. Maybe some of us want to write a book or create something useful for society, or just simply want to learn a new skill. No matter what, all these are just dreams if you don't set the goal to actually try to make that dream come true.

And after you write down your goal and design the strategy you need to achieve it, you have to do the work. The demanding everyday work.

Let's say for example that you want to write your first novel. What a dream right?

You have found the subject of your book, you have started writing full of enthusiasm every day, but after a few pages and a few days later or a month later you feel frustrated. Life gets in the way. You have your daily job, your kids, demanding everyday tasks that need your attention and you feel exhausted. You think you will never finish what you have started. It seems to you like climbing Everest.

I've been there. I have a tip for you that helped me survive.

Look at your feet. Take one step at a time. Don't look at the end. Consider only your next step. Do what you have to do today. That is your only obligation. Write a page for example if we talk about the previous book. A page every day at the end of the year will become 365 pages. When you look back you'll feel satisfied enough with yourself.

Take one step after the other. Eventually, you will reach your dream before you even know it.

Thanks for reading!
