I stopped saying, "it's easy"

by

Because something that's easy for me to understand, do, solve or achieve, may not be easy for someone else...

I find it a bit disappointing and discouraging when we try to study/learn something (especially it correlates to studies) and we end up not getting a topic/an idea, when we get a bad grade or fail a test, and there is someone who tells you, " Oh, it's so easy! ". Yep, but not for me, not for them.

I stopped saying that a couple of years ago, I try to cheer one up or help them, or change the topic, or just shrug or nod. I can praise someone and flatter their knowledge in a particular subject/area, but I don't want to shout out loud about what's easy and what's not...

In fact, I started reversing every situation before saying something that I have doubts about . I try to put myself in that someone's place and think over how I would act or feel.
