Today is Tuesday, and I'm currently writing this post before taking my exam about medieval French. The topic of this course was really interesting but also difficult so I'm a little stressed right now. I hope it will be alright.
Tonight I'll meet friends, we'll hang out in the city and I want to go to the Christmas market because I didn't have the time to see it yet. This time of the year is always so busy!
Thursday is my last day of class and I'm really looking forward to the holidays! I'll spend Christmas with my family and the New Year Eve with friends. Then in January I have exams again (this time about history), and in February I have some holidays again before a new semester starts at the university.
I really hope we'll be able to study offline, but for now we can't be sure.
Thank you for reading and I wish you all a Merry Christmas :)
Medieval French sounds really cool! What are you studying? :)
@Caro I'm studying French (it includes literature, history of the language and linguistics) and history :) So in this course the goal was to understand French as it was spoken (or written in that case) in the 11th-14th centuries!
That's so interesting! I'm currently doing my PhD in medieval history and sometimes come across French medieval texts. Luckily, I usually find some kind of translation, but I enjoy discovering the little details that changed over the centuries.
