This is a review from a story I read lately.

This story is about a girl who always felt alone. Her name is Gracie.

She lives in a small town where the people from the nearest city spend their summer. Gracie has a favorite spot near the town lake where she can just be alone and think about her life. One afternoon, when she was sunbathing, she saw something in the water. Something like a tail, a really big tail.

The weird thing was that she was not scared of the monster, on the contrary, she wanted to know what was that thing in the lake. So, when the monster didn't appear again, she went to find Eli, the weird kid who always came to town just for the summer and who spent all his time in the local library reading books. Gracie thought the boy was weird, but also he could be the only one to know about the monster and the history of the town. After they met, they started to find more information about the monster and spend every afternoon together getting to know each other better.

Even though this was kind of a love story, I really loved that plot twist in the end because it changed the story to a fantasy.
