Covid-19 is affecting new employment and the informal labor sector of Thailand.

In the past, over a period of more than a decade. Thailand had the very lowest unemployment rate, of only 1% due to the economic structure of the country. More than half of the workers were informal laborers. The definition of informal labor is the labor that is working, but unable to get the protection of

or doesn't have any social security. They mainly work in the commercial and service sectors.

We rarely find informal labor in a developed country. Most new graduates and working people

will work in formal labor or are unemployed, which is different from Thailand. The new graduates have many choices to select a work option, They can select formal, informal working, or unemployment.

Informal labor is one popular choice in Thailand which is about 54% of the total workforce.

The fragile commercial and service sectors which are made up of informal workers are

challenges for the labor market, which mostly consist of “unskilled” and semi-skilled laborers.

at the same time, over 5 hundred thousand new laborers coming to market each year consisted of

70% of tertiary graduates mostly would not meet the new normal requirements for new employment.

Another main point, the labor of Thailand consists of “High Aged Labourers” of which 9.52 million

or 25.4% of the population were over 50 years.

The question is How is covid 19 affecting Thailand's informal laborer's new laborers and High Aged Labourers in the economic recession which employed system-changing organization structures that are fundamentally weak, which rely on technology to complete the working processes of the organization.
